Why Cardboard?
A cardboard box was always my favourite toy - a blank canvas for a big imagination.
As a tiny tot, it was just me, my ideas, and a pile of cardboard. Those creative adventures weren't just play; they were where I cultivated a lifelong love of learning and began discovering my sense of self. Those early creative endeavours mattered and enriched my life.
Now, having worked with hundreds of children, I get to share this gift with others. It's not just about providing space, time, and resources - it's about offering the gifts of listening, enthusiasm, and understanding.
In The Cardboard Shed, I witness precious moments where a spark of an idea ignites and a child's eyes light up. I get to listen to big ideas and guide inventors past frustrating moments. I offer new perspectives and help families reconnect.
Here, I see curiosity and creativity at their best. The Cardboard Shed is so much more than cardboard, it's where imagination takes shape and possibilities come to life.
