I'm a believer in people.

I'm fascinated by what people are capable of when they're given the right space, encouragement and opportunity.
And in what's possible
ABOUT ME
The moment I live for.
I've seen it happen again and again. Someone starts talking about an idea they can't quite explain. They think aloud, make connections, question something they'd always assumed was true.
And then, suddenly, there's a glimmer of something new.
I love that moment. The moment when something shifts and a person starts to see what's possible for themselves. It's probably why I do what I do.
"Oh! I hadn't thought of it like that."
What's it like to work with me
Compassionate first, rebellious when it helps

An enthusiasm that's contagious
I get genuinely excited about people and what they're trying to do.
I love seeing someone light up about an idea, especially when they're not quite sure yet where it might lead.
I'm a natural cheerleader, but not the kind who tells you everything is brilliant. I want to see what you could make happen and I love it when you start to see it too.
A little unconventional. Very down to Earth.
I've always been drawn to the things that don't quite fit the mould. I'm playful, curious and perfectly happy to ask, “But why does it have to be like that?”
I'm also practical, organised and good at getting things over the line. I love big ideas, but I love seeing them out in the world even more.

Warmth without judgement
I'm not very good at pretending to be someone I'm not, and I don't expect you to either. I care about people. I listen, I laugh and I get excited more than most.
I want people to feel comfortable enough to be honest, think out loud and explore an idea without worrying about looking silly.
Experience that comes in handy
I've spent my working life turning ideas into things that exist in the world.
I've built several creative business, developed products and experiences and learned first-hand what it takes to make an idea work beyond the exciting beginning.
I've planned and delivered events, exhibitions and retreats, facilitated groups, and brought people together around shared ideas and ambitions.
I'm an ICF accredited coach but you'll also find me working on several projects at once. From The Cardboard Shed, to being Director of a CIC, to my work with the Sir Ken Robinson Foundation, I'm constantly drawing on my creativity, strategy and communication skills.
I've been the person with the idea, the person working out the plan, and the person making sure all the moving parts come together. I understand both the excitement of what's possible and the reality of making it happen.
A healthy disregard for the usual way of doing things
I've always been drawn to the mavericks, the people who are curious, who play and who are brave enough to try something rather than spend their lives talking about it.
That instinct has taken me in some unexpected directions.
Number one bestseller
I once spent a year in an experiment where 100 people answered a counterintuitive question by fax every Friday.
Thirty two people made it to the end, and we wrote a book together. There was no leader and no rules, just total honesty.
This unlikely collaboration became an instant Amazon number-one bestseller.
The Cardboard Shed
A unique creative space where children build, invent and make whatever they can imagine, using cardboard and real tools.
Hundreds of children have created within the Shed since I started it in 2022. I've even been told it's better than Legoland!
It's a shed full of possibilities.
